COMECON: 'The Worms Of God' Anthology Due In December

November 27, 2008

Nuclear Blast Records has set a December 5 European release date for "The Worms Of God", a complete anthology from the Swedish death metal pioneers COMECON. The two-CD set includes all three of the band's studio albums: "Megatrends In Brutality" (1992),"Converging Conspiracies" (1993) and "Fable Frolic" (1995).

COMECON's success and excellent reputation were not only based on the quality of their songs but also on the fact that the three albums featured three different well-known vocalists: "Megatrends In Brutality" was recorded with L.G. Petrov of ENTOMBED fame, "Converging Conspiracies" featured Martin van Drunen (ASPHYX, ex-PESTILENCE) on vocals, while Marc Grewe (MORGOTH) contributed the vocals to COMECON's third album, "Fable Frolic". If you consider yourself a death metal fan, these classic albums have to be part of your record collection.
